Spherulites as a form of growth of electrolytic deposits

Description
Formations of spherulites during elctrocrystallization of a number of metals, Cd in particular, are searched. It is shown that in the case of electrolysis of CdSO4 agueous solution, cathode deposits are common polycrystal formations. Evidently, the formation of spherulites during electrocrystallization is not typical to cadmium because of the small overvoltage of this metal separation out of solutions of simple salts
