Description
Three line profile variable or 53 Per stars and one broad line star have been monitored for light variations. The observations comprise about 750 measurements of each star and its comparison spread over 28 nights in two seasons. From these results light variability is detected in all programme stars with semi-amplitudes ranging from 0.8 to 8.0 millimag. The coherent periods detected do not agree with those found from the line profile variability. Possible reasons for this discrepancy are discussed. (author)
