Experimental investigation of neutron distribution at ground-air interface

Description
Spatial and energy distributions of neutrons near ground surface have been studied in a wide range of distances from a fission source located at the ground-air interface. Measurements were carried out by scintillation, SEhN2-02 and multisphere spectrometers. Presented are neutron spectra for different distances from the source angular distribution of neutron equivalent dose rate, spatial distribution of total neutron flux densities, fast and thermal neutron flux and neutron equivalent dose rate. Counting rates of the multisphere spectrometer are given
