On the relation between monitored values of liquid wasters and monitored concentrations of radionuclides in open bodies of water
Description
Relative radiation capacity of NPP cooling pond is calculated. The effect of processes of radioactive solutions redistribution as well as of radioactive soils sedimentation on a radionuclide concentration value in water and in the bottom soil is considered. It is shown that for the pond under consideration the sedimentation process is the main one when estimating the danger which may be caused with NPP cooling pond with respect to the environment
