Some possibilities for the plutonium content determination in an irradiated nuclear fuel

Description
The results of the methods used for the plutonium content determination in an irradiated nuclear fuel from Bohunice A-1 reactor are described. The main attention was paid to the following questions: mass-spectrometric isotope dilution method, radiometric method and correlation dependence method based on the analysis of the burnt fuel. The principle and accuracy of the individual methods are discussed. (author)
