Numerical simulation of 3-D effects caused by e-beam deviation and oblique injection or mirror tilt in FEL oscillator experiment

Description
3-D effects, caused by deviation and oblique injection electron beam or mirror tilt, on FEL quality by 3-DOSFEL code in FEL oscillator experiment are analysed. When the centre of electron beam deviates the axis centre of wiggler, the gain gn/% and power P/MW of FEL oscillator will descend. If we demand that saturation power descends 20% of the Ps = 109.6 MW, we can present deviation size a≅0.13 cm of the x-direction, b≅0.053 of the y-direction and a=b≅0.049 cm of the x- and y-directions. Under the conditions of oblique electron beam, if we also demand that, we can present oblique injection radian θx≅1.2 x 10-3 rad for the x-direction, θy≅2.1 x 10-3 rad for the y-direction, θx≅0.61 x 10-3 rad and θy≅1.1 x 10-3 rad for x- and y-direction respectively
