Description

The following are introduced in this paper. (1) Hydrogen transport model of surface and redeposition layer bulk for evaluating the hydrogen storage/emission of plasma facing wall, its application to the QUEST (Q-shu University Experiments with Steady-State Spherical Tokamak) plasma facing wall, and in-core particle circulation model constructed from the above results and the analysis of QUEST long-term discharge. (2) Rotational temperature measurement of hydrogen molecules in the neighbor of the first wall of QUEST and in the LHD diverter region by measuring the emission spectra of hydrogen molecules. (3) Measurement of hydrogen atom transport dynamics from the periphery to the core by measuring the emission spectra of hydrogen atoms, and its relationship with plasma confinement. (A.O.)
