Dental CT: A new program for planning and evaluating implantations of the jaw
Description
Initial experience has shown that a nearly continuous collaboration of oral surgeons with radiologists is possible with this program. The software described allows the oral surgeon the exact three-dimensional positioning of the implant into the mandibular arch, the maximum use of available bone and the avoidance of injury to the internal alveolar nerve. Exact planning permits a reduction of the operation time. (orig./GDG)
