Description
In 1992 the Agency's Marine Environment Laboratory (IAEA-MEL) responded to an invitation by the Russian and Norwegian governments to participate in investigatory cruises to the Kara Sea and to assist in the assessment programme related to the disposal of radioactive wastes in the Kara and Barents Seas.
