Physics in collision 14

Description

This conference was devoted to physics in collisions. The scientific program involved a broad range of topics. On the first day, talks concentrated on electroweak physics, structure functions, photoproduction and heavy quark production. A special session was dedicated to the status of the top quark analysis at the Tevatron. On the second day the scope of the presentations shifted toward the status of QCD, heavy flavor physics and tau decays. On the third and last day of the conference, the topics ranged from strange particle decays to the highest energy cosmic rays. The conference closed with a glimpse to the future in a talk on the prospects for physics beyond the standard model
