Description
This bibliographical summary, financed by RTE, deals with the potential impact of submarine power cables on various components of coastal marine ecosystems likely to host power link projects at sea. It is an update of a previous state of the art carried out on the same issue by Ifremer in 2011, already at the request of RTE. This report successively deals with the different types of disturbances that a submarine cable project can cause, during construction (laying, maintenance) and operation phases, distinguishing what relates to changes in the physico-chemical parameters of the environment (the 'effects') of what relates to changes in biodiversity and the functionalities of the benthic and halieutic compartments (the 'impacts')

Cette synthese bibliographique, financee par RTE, traite de l'impact potentiel des cables electriques sous-marins sur differentes composantes des ecosystemes marins cotiers susceptibles d'accueillir des projets de liaisons electriques en mer. Elle constitue une actualisation d'un precedent etat de l'art realise sur la meme problematique par l'Ifremer en 2011, deja a la demande de RTE. Ce rapport traite successivement des differents types de perturbations que peut engendrer un projet de cable sous-marin, pendant les phases de travaux (pose, maintenance) et d'exploitation, en distinguant ce qui releve des changements des parametres physico-chimiques du milieu (ce que l'on designe ici par effets) de ce qui releve des changements de la biodiversite et des fonctionnalites des compartiments benthiques et halieutiques (ce que l'on designe ici par impacts)
