Spin amplitudes of pp scattering in the unitarized supercritical pomeron model
Description
Spin amplitudes of the elastic proton-proton scattering are calculated in the model of supercritical pomeron unitarized by the eikonal method. Polarization of the proton at small momentum transfers is shown in the model to decrease proportionally to 1/In2(s/sq) while for fixed momentum transfers it decreases as 1/In(s/sq). Polarization proves to be an oscillating function of both energy and momentum transfer
