Study of vacancy defect distribution by depth with method of positron sounding

Description

We have developed positron depth sounding method. It can be used to obtain information on electron structure and defects from different layers of the material researched. Positron sounding helps (to a certain degree) to solve one of main issues of radiation material and structural study: to study defect distribution by depth in materials in the course of their irradiation by high energy particles. As experiments show, intensity dependency Y(x) of transmission positrons from depth in materials can be described by exponential function in first approximation: Y(x)=k·e-αx
