Description

A prompt gamma neutron activation analysis system is being set up in HANARO, a 30 MW research reactor in the Korean Atomic Energy Research Institute. The beam is polychromatic thermal neutrons diffracted vertically by a set of pyrolytic graphite crystals. Details about the system design and neutron beam specifications are given. The HYPERMET analysis software and the results obtained using the software are discussed and future plans for the system are presented
