Description

From the Q-value (5701.9+-2.5)keV of the reaction 37Cl(t, p)39Cl, the ground-state mass defect of 39Cl is found to be (-29802.8+-2.5)keV, an improvement upon the existing value of (-29803+-18)keV. The Coulomb displacement energy of the mirror nuclei 39Cl-39Ar for T=5/2, Jsup(π)=3+/2 is found to be (6422.1+-10.6)keV. The r0 parameter of the charge radius is approximately 1.32 fm for A=39
