Assembly for monitoring nuclear reactor control rods

The assembly is applicable, in particular, for determining exactly and quickly the start-up time of nuclear reactor control rods up to their reaching a defined speed. This serves to improve monitoring and enhance nuclear safety. An electromechanical transmitter fastened to the upper end of the central toothed rack unit emits pulses of a preselected frequency which are received by detectors, evaluated by a special device, and indicated on a display
