Difference methods for diffusion equations in plasma physics
Description
Various difference methods for certain nonlinear diffusion equations and also systems of such equations are investigated with respect to convergence and stability. For this purpose implicit two-level methods of the Crank-Nicholson type prove to be particularly useful. For these some numerical examples are given. (orig.)
