Theory of radiation induced defect production
Description
The production of point defects in irradiated metals is described briefly. The concepts introduced including: primary recoil energy spectra; radiation induced defect production; and the displacement cascade; are explained in detail. Some comparisons are made between the theoretical model and the results of low temperature low dose irradiation experiments
