Vibrational constants and binding energies for transitions of KRb in a supersonic molecular beam

  • 1. KAIST, Taejon (Korea, Republic of)

Description

Resonance enhanced two photon ionization spectrum of KRb was observed in pulsed molecular beam. Four new vibrational progressions were observed in the range of 436 ∼ 460 nm. We determine absolute vibrational quantum numbers from the isotopic shifts of the vibrational energy. The binding energies of the observed electronic states are obtained from the Birge-Sponer analysis and LeRoy-Bernstein analysis. The electronic term value (Te) and harmonic vibrational frequencies (ωe) of KRb were determined. (author)
