Detection of fission products in the coolant of liquid metal cooled reactors
Description
A cell is tightly put around a fuel element. The liquid metal coolant is allowed to rise in the cell in order to be degassed for the detection of gaseous fission products. The invention consists of a method to keep a desired flow of the coolant flow after the detection, both in order to avoid temperature caused damages of the fuel sheaths. (P.K.)
