Strong photoluminescence from Cr3+ doped porous anodic alumina

  • 1. National Laboratory of Solid State Microstructures, Nanjing University, Nanjing 210093 (China)

Description

Samples of Cr3+ doped porous anodic alumina (PAA:Cr) with different crystal structures were prepared and very strong photoluminescence from a PAA:Cr template calcined at temperature higher than 900 deg. C was obtained. The crystallization of the PAA:Cr and its influence on the photoluminescence were studied. This kind of PAA:Cr with the template property and strong luminescence may be beneficial in the preparation of composite luminescent nanomaterial
