Failure and safety analyses for the HTR modular reactor. Subproject 3. Analysis of transient operating conditions. Final report
Description
The activities for subproject III performed by HRB and reported here include failure analyses of the concrete cooling system, evaluation of whole-plant conditions after reactor scram with a view to detecting procedures exerting less stress on the components, and the fuel behaviour in case of extreme, failure-induced transients. Supplemental studies resulted in proposals for design improvements of hot-gas affected parts of the ceramic components in order to achieve better resistance to failure-induced loads. (orig.)

In dem hier vorliegenden Teilvorhaben III der HRB wird ueber Stoerfalluntersuchungen am Betonkuehlsystem, Untersuchungen zur Gesamtanlage nach Reaktorschnellabschaltung im Hinblick auf komponentenschonende Prozeduren sowie ueber das Brennstoffverhalten bei extremen Stoerfalltransienten berichtet. Als ergaenzende Untersuchung werden konstruktive Verbesserungn der heissgasbeaufschlagten Teile der keramischen Einbauten bezueglich stoerfallbedingter Belastungen dargestellt.
