Description

A study of the diffusion of radon through mica track filters has been carried out using U-rich ore as a radon source. Radon gas concentrations were determined by an alpha-particle counting technique using a silicon diffused electronic detector. It has been found that diffusion of radon through a mica track filter depends on the porosity and thickness of the filter. (Author)
