Ascending phlebography of the leg during pregnancy

  • 1. Dept. of Diagnostic Radiology, Grosshadern Clinic of the Ludwig-Maximilian Univ., Muenchen (Germany)

Description

The combination of modern technical possibilities, such as digitization, pulsed fluoroscopy and reduced-dose radiographic modes, permits a reduction of 98.5% in radiation exposure for phlebographies while still producing image quality of diagnostic value. This will prove possible with the Multistar T.O.P. (orig.)
