The orbit of the Mn star 53 Tau has been determined from measures of 30 Mount Wilson, Lick, and Palomar coude' spectrograms obtained by several observers between 1946 and 1972. 53 Tau has the shortest orbital period yet found for a Mn star, 4d45 Key words: spectroscopic binary - manganese star - Ap star
