K0-anti K0 and the chiral-bag model

Description
The B-parameter is determined by the chiral-bag model calculation of the K0-anti K0 amplitude. This is correlated with the K+→π+π0 decay amplitude. The theoretical magnitude of B-parameter depends on the final ππ state interaction effects in K→2π decays. Without the final state interaction correction one finds B(μB2) ≅ 0.37, with the correction included B(μB2) ≅ 0.9. Similar connection between theoretical prediction of the K0→π+π0 decay amplitude and calculated value of B parameter seems to exist in other approaches too. (orig.)
