Neutrino charge current cross section in dense hyperonic matter
Description
An investigation of neutrino charge current cross section in hyperonic matter is preformed. The issue of influence of presence of hyperons on matters response is studied with two standard approximations: Hartree-Fock and random phase approximation. We present a comparison of these two approximation, study both theirs differences as well as similarities. For the construction of equilibrated dense matter as well as for the calculation of the polarizations functions effective baryon-baryons interactions are uses. These potentials are low momentum effective potentials commonly referred to as Vlow,k. We also use these potentials to calculate the effective masses of baryons as well as particle-hole matrix elements which are necessary for random phase approximation.(author)
