Ewing sarcoma and errors in its diagnosis

Analysis of reasons of erroneous diagnoses of 206 examinations of patients, suffering from Ewing sarcoma is presented. Three main reasons of diagnostic errors on the first patient turn to the doctor were distinguished: the absence of oncological alertness for doctors of general profile clinics; the absence of roentgenological investigation in patient examination during the first application. Clinical phase of the disease and its phase from roentgenography data were not considered and compared during determination of osteomyelitis diagnosis
