Description
The theory of electromagnetic electron interaction with rough metal surface is developed. Excitation of oscillations of electron density in separate particles on the surface (microheterogeneities) is shown to be the reason for the observed anomalously high intensity of optical radiation from the surface under the effect of electron flux. The influence of dimensions, form and interactions of microheterogeneities on emission spectrum and energy losses by electrons are investigated
