Description
The projectile X-ray cross sections for electron capture to excited states have been calculated in O8+ and F9+ + H(1s) collision processes in the energy range between 10 and 40 MeV in the case of O8+ and 10 and 60 MeV in the case of Fsup(9±) ions with n ≤ 6. The calculated data for X-ray cross sections are compared in relation to the total capture cross sections and found to be in good agreement with the existing theoretical calculations and experimental findings.
