Distribution of plutonium within rat body after intratracheal administration of Pu(4)-TBP complex
Description
Tributyl phosphate intratracheally administered to rat body with a Pu(4)-TBP complex does not increase the accumulation of plutonium in the skeleton and liver. Plutonium is excreted from the lungs more readily than Pu(4) nitrate and its large amounts are resorbed in the blood early after the administration; its excretion in feces ia ∼ 100 times more intense than in urine
