Environment protection through energy tax?
Description
The Federal German Government continues to work for the introduction of an EU-wide CO2/energy tax as part of its CO2 abatement campaign which aims at a 25%-30% abatement of energy-related CO2 emissions in Germany by the year 2005 (related to 1987). (orig.)

Im Rahmen des CO2-Minderungsprogramms der Bundesregierung mit dem Ziel, die energiebedingten CO2-Emissionen der Bundesrepublik Deutschland bis zum Jahre 2005 um 25 bis 30% (bezogen auf das Emissionsvolumen von 1987) zu reduzieren, wird nach wie vor die Schaffung einer EU-weiten CO2/Energiesteuer verfolgt.
