The analysis of inner mongolia aer manitu formation volcanic geochemical characteristics
Description
The volcanic host rocks in Manitu Formation from Inner Mongolia Arxan are identified as andesite in petrography, the chemical composition demonstrate its andesite and trachyandesite. Zircon U-Pb dating results show that they formed at Late Jurassic from 152 to 157 Ma. These volcanic rocks are alkaline series in composition and rich in alkali and potassium; they are high in total rare earth elements, highly fractionated LREE from HREE. The magma derived from the deep mantle, crystallization separation is obvious, and the rocks are volcanic rocks in orogenic belts. (authors)
