Semi-empirical systematics of (n,p) reaction excitation functions

Description
A new semi-empirical systematics of (n,p) reaction excitation functions for nuclei with mass number 40≤qslantA≤qslant209 is presented. It is based on analytical formulae describing the dependence of (n,p) reaction cross section on the energy of primary neutrons and obtained using the pre-equilibrium exciton model and the evaporation model. To improve the agreement with experimental data the cross sections measured at an energy of 14.5 MeV are used for development of the systematics. ((orig.))
