Tail-gut cyst
Description
A case of tail-gut cyst is presented with a description of its clinical-radiological-histopathological features and a discussion of the relevant embryology, as well as a brief review of the literature. Computed tomography proved to be the most sensitive imaging modality. It demonstrated a round oval multi cystic mass with well defined borders and a homogeneous soft-tissue density. A CT-guided drainage/aspiration was performed followed by surgery. A repeat CT scan (3 months after the surgery) showed no residual mass
