On the apparatus dependence of the anomalous magnetic moment of the electron
Description
It is shown that the apparatus-dependent contribution to the anomalous magnetic moment of the electron measured in the geonium-spectroscopy experiment depends quite sensitively on the magnetic field H present there. Especially, for lambda=aeH/πmsub(e)=1,3,5,..., where a is the distance between two parallel mirrors used as a model for the apparatus, resonances appear. The possibility of the experimental observation of these phenomena is discussed. (orig.)
