Practice of industrial medicine in the plants whose workers are exposed to the ionizing radiations
Description
The article considers the characteristics of the medical interventions in the plants which involve an exposure to ionizing radiations. After the study of the organization procedures to comply with the regulations in force from the prospective point of view the increasingly frequent intervention of temporary workers in the nuclear industry, the difficulties involved in the supervision of the internal contamination and the consequences of the introduction of principles of justification and optimization into the practice of medicine in the nuclear environment are discussed
