Condenser photo-emf in ion-bombarded ZnP2 and CdP2

Description
The condenser photo-emf (Vph) in implanted crystals of ZnP2 and CdP2 has been studied within the wavelength of 300-900 nm. The change of the Vph sign was observed after the bombardment of ZnP2 by oxygen ions. This effect is caused by the occurence of the surface i-layer. A new band (2.31 eV) of Vph appears after the oxygen-ion bombardment of CdP2. It is associated with the formation of surface quasidielectric phase
