New vector-like interactions: Constraints from kaon physics and from μ→eγ

Description
Bounds on rare processes can provide severe constraints on non-standard effective interactions which arise in certain extensions of the standard model. We point out how the K0-anti Ksub(anti 0) mass difference and the rate for μ→eγ can be used to constrain vector-like effective four-fermion operators, and discuss the effects of these operators on other rare kaon decays.
