Assessment of left ventricular performance in patients with programable pacemakers by radionuclide angiography

  • 1. University Clinic of Cardiology, Vienna (Austria)

Description

The study shows that radionuclide angiography can assess ventricular performance in pacemaker patients and shows the superiority of physiologic pacing in the initial phase after implantation and also demonstrates the influence of AV-delay on ventricular function. Exercise gated radionuclide angiography can be valuable in determining optimal pacing rates in selected patients undergoing programable pacemaker implantation
