Description
Design of compact generator for power subnanosecond beams of charged particles and its experimental investigation results are described. Generator consists of high-voltage pulse source and vacuum chamber, where electronic or magnetoinsulated ion diode is placed. Generated beam parameters are as follows: 120 keV energy; 300 A ion current; 3 kA electron current; pulse durations: of ions constitute -0.3 μs; of electrons -1.0 μs
