Magnetic resonance - investigation method of molecular systems
Description
Significant progress in the application of magnetic resonance methods for the characterization of molecular systems has been observed in recent years. Two topics were approached by us, together with research groups from National Institute of Isotopic and Molecular Technologies Cluj-Napoca , by magnetic resonance: 1. The study of the molecular systems with strong impact in nuclear technology; 2. Quasi 1D molecular conductors. Taking into account that this Conference is devoted to isotopic and molecular processes, the main results concerning the possibility to use NMR in detecting 235-U content in liquid UF6, are reported. Concerning the Pt - based quasi 1D molecular complexes investigated by EPR, recent developments and aspects of spin dynamics in reduced symmetry and the presence of non - linear excitations are presented.
