Kinetics of ultrafine powders sintering and new approach to determination of critical thickness of liquid melt layer
Description
Mechanisms of the initial stage of ultrafine particle metallic powders sintering are determined and analyzed. The formula allowing to calculate the thickness of surface layer, melting of which induces the whole ultrafine particle melting, is obtained. 12 refs.; 4 tabs
