Potassium purification from impurities by metallic zirconium
Description
Results are presented from experiments on zirconium purification of potassium using tubes and a circulation loop containing a large volume of potassium. Zirconium readily absorbs oxygen and hydrogen from potassium. The optimum working conditions have been established for a zirconium getter purifying potassium from oxygen
