Creators

Description

Some important considerations in target development for medical radioisotope production at a cyclotron are outlined. A brief review of routinely used target systems is given. Some of the recent developments in targetry, especially those related to the production at low energy cyclotrons, are described. The use of highly enriched isotopes as target materials is considered. Experimental thick-target yields and purity of radioactive products are discussed. (orig.)
