Valve seat lapping machine
- 1. Fuji Electric Co. Ltd., Kawasaki, Kanagawa (Japan)
Description
This valve seat lapping machine was developed by Fuji Electric and Toa Valve Company Limited in cooperation with several Japanese electric power companies. It automatically laps large sized valve seats from a remote location. This unit is effective in rationalization of inspection and maintenance during in-service inspection of valves in-stalled at highly radioactive zones in nuclear power plants. The valve seat lapping machine, featuring easy operation, compact design and high performance, has been completed for practical application. (author)
