Radioactivity measurement of cyclotron-produced sources using instruments with well-type ionization chambers
Description
The method is described of determining calibration factors for Mediac Dose Calibrator (by Searle - now Siemens) for radionuclides for which the instrument is not calibrated by the manufacturer. The procedure is based on the known dependence of the sensitivity of a well-type ionization chamber on photon energy. Calibration factors have been calculated for 67Ga, 123I, 201Tl and 111In. For 67Ga the value of the calibration factor was verified using an ERX type standard by UVVVR Prague. (author) 4 tabs., 1 fig., 6 refs
