Rehabilitation of Una 1 Hydro Power Plant

The article briefly describes the UNA hydro power plant near Bihac, which has been operating for over 45 years, the problems regarding the maintenance of its operational reliability as well as its significance for the region. Since the overflowing of water occurs even at maximum general conditions, the capacity of the power plant could be increased and an extension of the power plant could be realized. The rehabilitation of the existing power plant could be performed within the scope of these works. In this view, the corresponding documentation ha already been partly elaborated and tenders and demand binders for the supply of main technological equipment. (author)
