Thick metal coatings obtained by ion plating

Description
The necessity to realize adherent, thick and uniform in thickness coatings on substrates of various configuration leads to developp an ion-plating deposition system using an electron beam evaporation source. For materials such as Al, Sm, Y and W, the obtained coating answer for a great part to the asked qualities and this for thickness between 80 and 2.000μm
Abstract (French)
la necessite de realiser des depots adherents, epais et uniformes en epaisseurs sur des pieces de geometrie variee, a conduit a developper un bati de deposition par vapeur ionisee ('ion plating') utilisant un dispositif d'evaporation par faisceau electronique. Pour les materiaux tels que: Al, Sm, Y et W les depots obtenus repondent en grande partie aux qualites demandees, ceci pour des epaisseurs comprises entre 80 et 2.000 μmAdditional details
