Digital data analysis of steam generator tubing
Description
Data analysis equipment currently in use provides the analyst with a means to display and measure several parameters of the test signals. Both individual single-frequency test signals and combined (i.e. mixed) signals can be re-created. With the planned manufacture of a microprocessor-based test system that produces digital rather than analog data, a method to analyze this data using digital techniques has been developed for field service use. This Digital Data Analysis system is currently being used as an analytical tool for the evaluation of current and historical analog multi-frequency data tapes
